We must be able to produce more environmentally friendly buildings and cities, and significantly improve existing communities and their constructions. To succeed in this we must develop innovative functional and technical solutions.

Vahanen invests into life cycle and environmental competence by developing new services and including the environmental perspective in everything we do. Our environmental and energy services develop tools to meet customers’ diverse needs, ranging from evaluating strategic alternatives to planning and implementing them, and monitoring their use.

In practice, our environmental experts analyse the state of the environment. We evaluate environmental damages and make recovery plans, assess the environmental quality of buildings and soil by using various methods, and act as certification project managers and certification experts.
